Synopsis: Dogsbreath Devereaux, M.D., plots to wed and do away with the wealthy widow Lotta Cash so he can inherit her fortune and her late husband’s clinic.  He enlists the aid of the nasty nurse, Hilda Hatchet, and promises to marry her once he disposes of Lotta.  Problems arise with the insanely jealous Hilda catches Dogsbreath flirting with Wendy March, the heroine of our show.  It seems only our hero, Dr. Phil Good, can save Wendy and the unsuspecting Lotta Cash from certain death.  Set in a clinic filled with zany patients, this melodrama is sure to leave your audience in stitches.

Tobias Cheshire: (Tenor) Womanizer, but loves Joanna Todd. Corrupt police officer. He keeps the nightclub off the police’s radar. Charming, suave, and loyal.

Sweeney Todd: (Tenor/Bass) Owns illegal nightclub with best friend Henry Jekyll. Over protective of those around him, especially younger sister, Joanna Todd. He does not like outsiders.

Henry Jekyll & Edward Hyde: (Baritone) Two characters in one.  

Jekyll – owns illegal nightclub with Sweeney Todd. Falls in love with Lila. Welcoming, cautious, and intelligent. Unable to remember any time spent as Hyde.

Hyde – Dangerous, deadly. Wishes to be rid of Jekyll. Enjoys torturing Jekyll and those around him.

Copper Rosettes: Dancers at the Copper Pistol.

Lila Glossop: (Soprano/Alto) Devastated by her father’s death, she seeks revenge. She falls in love with Henry Jekyll, and know’s how to handle a gun. Conflicted, thoughtful, and astute.

Joanna Todd: (Soprano) Defiant, younger sister of Sweeney Todd. In love with Tobias Cheshire. Bold, rebellious, and independent.

Mad Hatter: (Alto) Sophisticated mastermind. Convinces Edward Hyde to kill and Lila Glossop to take revenge, among other things. Signature item is her hat. Enjoys watching others struggle. Mysterious and cruel.

Scons: Male AIDS patient, a skinny 20-year-old.
Ralph Gladden: Male AIDS patient, force Peter to confess.
Willy Fredrickson: Male AIDS patient, young, disowned by his family.
Connie: Female, Willy’s caring sister.
Beth: Female, a kind nurse.
Dr.Scower: Female, doctor.

Synopsis: In 1983, Peter Miller, recent college graduate, is determined to document accounts of the new AIDS epidemic, so he persuades directors of a clinic to allow him to masquerade as a patient. However, his facade crumbles violently when the other patients discover his secret and teach him a tragic lesson. The one act, Six Beds, is a dark yet powerful drama that brings to light the many questions we may deal with when faced with our own mortality.
